Settlement Conference mediators are trained to mediate for both Pierce County District and Superior Court. Settlement Conference Panel candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the practice of law and be recommended by two (2) of their peers in the legal community.
Some of the benefits to becoming a volunteer Settlement Conference Panelist include the opportunity to serve the South Sound community, to network with attorneys, trainers and other Center mediation practitioners and to receive ongoing skills training in conflict resolution.
