Q: What inspires you to be a Center for Dialog & Resolution Board Member?

A: When I joined I was excited about the aspect of helping families dealing with custody and parenting plans. I've witnessed firsthand the toll this takes on not just the parents but the children. Being able to relieve some of that anxiety and stress is a crucial part of child welfare for me.

Q: How do you think our organization impacts the community?

A: As a new board member I’ve yet to see the full scope of impact on our community. But I believe that the Center for Dialog and Resolution has not lasted for 30 years by not being a useful resource to the people of Tacoma and Pierce County.

Q: What are your hobbies outside of your professional life?

A:  I don't consider these hobbies but more of a passion. I've been a Court Appointed Child Advocate for Pierce County Juvenile Court since 2017. My husband and I are the lead ministers of the Community Outreach at our Church and I've created my a social network and website for female entrepreneurs built on the foundation of Proverbs 31.
