Scheduling
When the Center gets a request for mediation, the Responding Party is informed and given 10 days to respond. If the parties agree to mediate and pay the fees in full, the appointment can be scheduled. The typical time between a call to request mediation and the actual scheduled appointment is about 4 to 6 weeks.
The Center requests a valid address, email address and phone numbers in order to reach the Responding Party. If the 10 days run out, the Initiating Party is refunded (-$100 for administration costs) and the case is closed.
